No Fault Divorce
No-Fault divorce in Maryland: Maryland recognizes no fault divorce where both parties have lived separate and apart without interruption for 2 years. [Annotated Code of Maryland; Family Law, Section 7-103]. This is where the parties have continuously lived separate and apart for 2 years. Neither party has to prove grounds for divorce.
This means that the Court does not require that you prove why the marriage broke up.
